Roxanne Swentzell - Honorary Artist 2008
Let's Make ArtWinner of numerous awards, Swentzell (born 1962) was the subject of the 2002 book Roxanne Swentzell: Extra-Ordinary People. She is a sculptor of the joys and sorrows of the human condition, often using her own experiences as a child and mature woman living and working in Santa Clara Pueblo.
Tom Joyce - Honorary Artist 2007

Richard Tuttle - Honorary Artist 2006

Instead of their large scale, declarative statements, Tuttle asked viewers to slow down and consider the minutest details expressed in fragile, everyday materials and ephemera.
Agnes Martin - Honorary Artist 2005
Untitled (1994), acrylic, 60 x 60, Gift of the Artist, Harwood Museum of Art, Taos, NMCanadian born Agnes Martin (1912-2004) is best known for her minimalist paintings which are monochromatic and comprise simplified grids and lines in a square format. She visited Taos in 1929, returning in 1953 for five years, before moving to New York where she became a major player in the international art world.
